Thanks, Serge, for the quick, professional, and reasonably priced service. Will use you again - highly recommend!
Overview
In 2017 Serge Pavlenko started TCJ Hauling from Houston Street in West Sacramento. He had a construction degree, a framing license and a hunch that people would pay for a pickup that showed up when it said it would.
Take Care Junk Hauling: Point, and We Take It From There
Nine years on, it is still one local crew and Serge still answers the phone. The approach has not changed: you point at what goes, we carry it, sort it in the truck and sweep the spot it stood on. Same-day most days, evenings and weekends included. Small loads start at $99, and the price is settled before anyone lifts.
At a glance
- Upfront, volume-based pricing confirmed before we start
- Same-day and next-day appointments, open 24 hours a day
- Full service: we lift, load, haul and sweep up
- Licensed and insured, locally owned in West Sacramento
- We donate what is usable and recycle what we can
- No tips expected and no hidden dump fees

Van O., YelpThose are three of our reviews. On Google we hold a 5.0 rating across 255 of them, with 100 and more five-star reviews on Yelp and an A+ with the BBB. We are licensed and insured, we do not expect tips, and the quote you get by text is the number on the invoice. Read the rest, including the long ones.

The truck starts in West Sacramento and covers Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado and Solano counties. The owner who quotes the job is the one on the truck, which is why the price confirmed by text is the one you pay. From a single couch to piano and hot tub removal, text a photo and we will tell you what it costs.
Our motto is simple:
“Simply say take care & we’ll take it from there.” The name is the promise: we take care of the junk and we take care of the person who called. The values spell C.A.R.E.:
Customer Service
The person on the phone is the person on the truck. Questions get a straight answer, including “we cannot take that.”
Accountability
A quote before any work starts, a crew that shows up in the window it gave you, and a price that does not move once we have confirmed it.
Reliability
Open 24 hours, 7 days. Most calls before noon are picked up the same day; evenings and weekends are normal, not extra.
Efficiency
The truck is loaded tight so your pile takes less space and costs less, and the spot it stood on is swept before we leave.
Thank you for considering a local company. Prompt, reliable junk removal from a crew that lives here is all we set out to be.

Serge was awesome to work with. I am very grateful I found his company. I contacted them on a Tuesday and by Wednesday the hot tub was gone. He was on time and worked hard. Left the area cleaned up and I’m so excited to have my backyard back!

Messaged TCJ Hauling in need of getting rid of some junk that was accumulating in the garage. Not only was the company able to come the same day but were also very punctual and realiable which above all things mean the most me. The service was fast and the vehicle used was modern and able to accommodate for all the items I needed to be removed. Very Prosfessional and accommodating will definitely call them again and tell my friends and family to do the same. Thank you TCJ Hauling!
