What we haul
Most of our week is one of these six jobs. If yours is not on the list, text a photo and ask.
The sectional on the second floor, the fridge in the garage, the mattress nobody wants. We carry it out from wherever it sits.
Learn moreDesks and cubicles after a lease ends, fixtures from a closed store, pallets behind the warehouse. Repeat accounts can get net 30 terms.
Learn moreThe tenant who left everything, the parent’s house with forty years inside, the garage you cannot park in. One room at a time.
Learn moreHot tubs cut up where they sit ($300 to $600 and up), sheds taken down to the slab, pianos, playsets and the safe no one can move.
Learn moreRefrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves and freezers, carried out of the kitchen or garage and taken to a recycler that handles the refrigerant.
Learn moreClean furniture to a Sacramento charity when we can, metal to scrap, the rest to the transfer station. Charities refuse stained or broken pieces, so we say “when we can”.
Learn moreThe Take Care Junk Difference
Most junk removal ads read the same. The difference shows up at the door: does the truck come when promised, does the number grow once the pile is on it, is the driveway swept after.
The crew that quoted it carries it out, in a truck that does not leave oil on your driveway, and the sweep-up is part of the price.

Four steps. You only do the first one.
Send a picture to (916) 770-7619 or book online. One photo of the pile is enough for a price range.
A morning or afternoon window, usually today or tomorrow, evenings and weekends included.
Garage, attic, upstairs bedroom, back of the yard. You point, we carry, take apart and load.
The floor is swept before we leave, and the load goes to the right facility: charity, scrap recycler or transfer station.
Upfront, volume-based pricing
You pay for the share of the truck your items fill, and you get that number before we lift anything. Labor, loading, hauling and disposal are in it. Real weight (concrete, dirt, solid wood) and long carries are the two things that move it, and we say so on the phone.
One couch, a few boxes, a mattress
A couch and loveseat, or a dresser and a bed
A full living room, or half a garage
A whole apartment, or a packed garage
A house or an estate cleanout, in one trip
*Estimates for the Sacramento area. A full load is $850 in our 15-yard truck and $1,000 in our 20-yard truck. Weight, access and item type can adjust the final price; we always confirm it upfront before any work begins.

Four reviews from Google and Yelp, unedited. They cover what matters: when we came, what it cost, who showed up.
“Serge was amazing. I texted in the morning and he was there to pick up within 2 hours. I had enough junk, donation, electronics and misc stuff to fill the whole truck bed. He also took a washer and dryer, and broke down a storage shed.”
Jessica Jerozal, Google“Serge answered my initial inquiry about a garage clean out in just a few minutes, did an estimate, and showed up the next morning as promised. Quick work of a big job and he cleaned up afterwards. Final price was actually less than the estimate.”
Linda Myers Russell, Google“I’m a realtor and have used them for any clients that need junk hauled away. I had a really steep basement in one to get appliances out of. Usually there are last-minute items that you have to add and they’re so accommodating.”
Clara Tucker, Google“Serge arrived on time, impressive considering I made the appointment that morning. I texted pics and he provided an estimate before arrival. He and his partner cleared out my garage in almost no time. Love supporting local businesses!”

From a single couch to a whole garage: the same crew, the same clean finish.
You do not always need a truck. Here is when you do.
Most jobs start with a text. A garage with one path down the middle. A sectional that will not make the turn on the stairs. A rental where the tenant left the beds, the fridge and a full closet. Serge looks at the photo and texts back a price range, usually within the hour during business hours.
Take Care Junk is Serge Pavlenko’s company: started in 2017, run from 524 Houston St in West Sacramento, still one local crew rather than a franchise with a call center. The 255 five-star Google reviews come from that crew’s work across Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado and Solano counties.
You pay for the share of the truck your junk fills. Labor, loading, hauling and dump fees are inside the number.
| Load | Typical price | What that looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum | $99 to $150 | A couch, a fridge, or a small pile by the garage door |
| Quarter truck | $180 to $280 | A bedroom set, or one corner of a garage |
| Half truck | $320 to $480 | A lightly filled garage, or a few rooms |
| Full truck | $850 to $1,000 | A packed garage, a whole house, a big property cleanout |
Heavy material (concrete, dirt, solid wood), a long carry or a third-floor walk-up can move the number; we flag that when we quote. Hot tubs run $300 to $600 and up. Full breakdown in our junk removal price guide.
Most calls are residential junk removal: a couch, a fridge, a mattress, a hot tub, a shed, or the full garage cleanout where the car finally goes back inside. Estate cleanouts and senior downsizing get a slower pace: the family sorts, we haul what they point at.
For property managers and landlords we do apartment trash-outs and tenant move-outs, usually between the walk-through and the cleaners. Offices, retail and recurring pickups are on the commercial junk removal page.
Furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard waste, hot tubs, sheds, playsets, small amounts of electronics, and single-material loads such as metal, concrete or clean wood. We do not take hazardous waste, mixed construction and demolition debris, or house roofing. The exact list is on what we don’t take.
Anyone who would rather not spend a Saturday in line at Kiefer Landfill: homeowners, families clearing a parent’s house, landlords turning a unit, and businesses that cannot pull staff off the floor to carry desks.
Text a few photos to (916) 770-7619 or book online. Serge replies with a range. The final number is confirmed on site, and it covers labor, loading, hauling and disposal.
No. We carry from garages, basements, upstairs bedrooms, side yards and backyards. Clearing a path helps, but it is not required.
Hazardous waste (liquid paint, chemicals, solvents, propane, asbestos), mixed construction and demolition debris, house roofing and biohazard jobs. Metal only, concrete only or clean wood only loads are fine.
Yes. Unit turnovers, tenant move-outs, office and retail cleanouts and recurring pickups. Repeat commercial accounts can get volume discounts and net 15 or net 30 terms.

Minimum loads start at $99 and a full truck tops out around $1,000, with the tiers in between in the table above. You get the number before we lift anything.
Most days, yes. Text a photo in the morning and we can often be there that afternoon. Evenings and weekends are open too.
Furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard waste, hot tubs, sheds and most non-hazardous material. We do not take mixed construction and demolition debris, paint, chemicals or asbestos.
When we can. Clean furniture to a Sacramento charity, metal and appliances to a recycler, the rest to the transfer station. Not every load qualifies; charities turn away stained or broken pieces.
One photo, one price, and most days the space is yours again by evening.
