Disposal rules are set locally, not regionally. Each county runs its own transfer stations and sets its own rules about what it will accept, which bulky items a household can put out, and which materials carry a surcharge; tires and mattresses commonly do. A load from Auburn and an identical load from Davis can end up at different facilities under different fee schedules.

Inside the city our crews run daily routes, so most neighborhood pickups can be slotted in quickly. Midtown and downtown mean alley pickups, apartment access and tight parking for rental turnovers and office cleanouts. There is no travel fee anywhere in our standard service area, including Elk Grove, Roseville and Folsom. For very remote rural addresses that add significant drive time, a small travel surcharge may apply, and we tell you during the quote, never on the invoice.
