Thanks, Serge, for the quick, professional, and reasonably priced service. Will use you again - highly recommend!
Overview
The tract-home garage off Greenback Lane that has not held a car since 2019, or the unit near Sunrise Mall a tenant left full: we clear it, usually the same day. Same-day junk removal for Citrus Heights with upfront pricing, no hidden fees and no tips expected.
Republic Services will come for your old couch in Citrus Heights, free, if you book the appointment and can wait for the date. The catch is the landlord who needs the unit near Sunrise Mall empty by Friday, or the garage off Antelope Road holding two decades of boxes, not three items. That is us: a truck, two people, and a price you know before anything is lifted.
At a glance
- Upfront pricing from $99, confirmed before we start
- Same-day and next-day appointments, open 24 hours a day
- Full service: we lift, load, haul and sweep up
- Licensed and insured, locally owned in West Sacramento
- We donate what is usable and recycle what we can
- No tips expected and no hidden dump fees
The Citrus Heights Jobs We See Most
Citrus Heights is tidy tract homes between Greenback Lane, Antelope Road and Auburn Boulevard, with a lot of rentals mixed in, and the work follows the housing. A homeowner clears a garage before a move. A landlord resets a unit between tenants and wants the mattress, the dresser and the bags gone in one trip. A family swaps a living room of old furniture for new. We are 20 minutes up Interstate 80 from our West Sacramento base, so Citrus Heights sits in the middle of our service area and a morning text usually gets an afternoon truck.
- Furniture and mattress removal, any condition
- Refrigerators, washers, dryers and stoves, plus a few electronics
- Garage, attic and shed cleanouts
- Estate and eviction cleanouts
- Yard waste, palm fronds and old fencing
- Hot tubs, pianos and treadmills
Citrus Heights Disposal Rules Worth Knowing
The city contracts with Republic Services for the three-cart system, and the same contract gives residents free bulky-waste pickups by appointment. Furniture, mattresses, large appliances and bundled branches qualify. There are limits on the number of appointments per year and on how much goes out each time, and the items wait at the curb until the scheduled day. If one couch can wait, use it. Leaving anything at the curb without an appointment counts as illegal dumping in Citrus Heights. Two things the carts will not take that we will: palm fronds, banned from the green cart, and anything the gray cart cannot close over. Self-hauling means the Sacramento Recycling and Transfer Station or Kiefer Landfill, a tarped load and a fee by weight.
What Junk Removal Costs in Citrus Heights
You pay for the share of the truck your items fill, and the tiers match our price guide:
| Load | Typical price | What that looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum | $99 to $150 | One couch, a fridge or a treadmill |
| Quarter truck | $180 to $280 | A bedroom set, or a garage corner of boxes and bikes |
| Half truck | $320 to $480 | A full one-bedroom unit turnover |
| Full truck | $850 to $1,000 | A packed two-car garage or an estate |
Heavy material and long carries can move the number; we say so on the phone. Book online and we take $20 off.

Cecilia Marie D., YelpHow It Goes, and Where It Goes
Text a photo to (916) 770-7619 or book online, get a price, meet the truck. We carry everything out from wherever it sits, sweep the spot and leave. Clean furniture goes to a Sacramento-area charity when we can, metal to scrap, the rest to the transfer station. Charities refuse stained or broken pieces, so we never promise donation on a whole load. The same truck covers Antelope, Orangevale and Roseville, weekends included.
Citrus Heights and Neighboring Rancho Cordova
Citrus Heights is mostly mature, mid-century neighborhoods, so a lot of our calls follow a remodel: old cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures and rolled carpet pulled out of a kitchen or bathroom, plus the attic that got opened up in the process. We haul those items. Mixed remodel debris and drywall go to a licensed C&D hauler or a debris dumpster, as explained on our construction debris page. We also clear retail spaces along the Greenback and Auburn Boulevard corridors.
Next door, Rancho Cordova is newer housing and a large business and industrial base, so the calls there lean toward office and commercial cleanouts and single-material loads (metal only, concrete only or clean wood only) from new construction. We are not a C&D hauler and do not do job-site cleanup. For either city, see whole-home cleanouts, commercial junk removal, residential junk removal, large item removal and nearby Folsom. Cart rules, the bulky-pickup program and self-haul options are in our Citrus Heights disposal rules guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does junk removal cost in Citrus Heights?
Most Citrus Heights jobs land between $150 and $700. One couch or appliance is a minimum load, $99 to $150; a full garage runs toward a half or full truck. The number is confirmed before we start.
Do you do quick single-item pickups in Citrus Heights?
Yes. A lone couch, a dead treadmill or one refrigerator is a normal stop, and small jobs are the easiest to fit in the same day. Text a photo for the price and the earliest window.
What items can you take in Citrus Heights?
Furniture, mattresses, appliances, a few electronics, yard waste, hot tubs, pianos, and full garage or estate cleanouts. We cannot take paint, chemicals, propane or asbestos; Sacramento County runs free household hazardous waste drop-off for those.
How does pricing work?
By the space your items take in the truck, from $99 for a minimum load to $850 to $1,000 for a full truck. Booking online saves $20.
Do you donate and recycle?
When we can. Clean, working pieces go to Sacramento-area charities and metal to scrap. Charities turn down stained, torn or broken items, so we sort each load in the truck rather than promise it up front.
Do you serve businesses as well as homes in Citrus Heights?
Yes. We clear offices and storefronts along Greenback Lane and Auburn Boulevard, furniture, shelving and fixtures included, before opening or after close.
