Overview
The new set is in boxes in the hallway and the old one is still in the laundry closet. We carry both machines out, from any floor, and the steel goes to a scrap recycler.
The new washer and dryer arrive Saturday. The old pair is still in the closet, the washer weighs as much as a fridge, and the stairs turn at the landing. That is the call, and it is one of the simplest jobs we do, as long as the hoses are off before we get there.

We Handle the Whole Job
A washer is heavy and holds water in its lines; a dryer is gas or electric. Once the machines are disconnected, the crew walks them out on a dolly, pads the door frames, and carries them down from upstairs laundry rooms, out of basements and out of closets built around them. You do not move anything first.
Recycled, Not Landfilled
Washers and dryers are mostly steel. The old set goes to a scrap-metal recycler, where the steel and components are reclaimed instead of taking space in a Sacramento landfill. That is the one load we can say is recycled every time.

Disconnect Before We Arrive
This is the part people dread, and it is the part we do not do. A washer ties into hot and cold water lines and a drain, and there is always water left in the hoses. A dryer is electric on a 240-volt plug or gas with a flex line and a vent duct. Before we arrive: water off and hoses off, the dryer unplugged, and for a gas dryer the valve shut and the line disconnected by you or a plumber. We do not disconnect or cap water or gas lines, because old hoses and valves start leaking the moment they are moved, and a leak can flood a laundry room. We will unplug a standard plug-in unit. Once the machines are free, we carry them out.
How It Works
Text a photo of the machines and the path out to (916) 770-7619 or book online. We send a price back, confirm it at the door, and only start when you say go. The crew carries both units out, sweeps the closet, and the set goes to the recycler. Same-day and weekend slots are usually open.
What Washer and Dryer Removal Costs
