Overview
The treadmill in the bonus room is a clothes rack now. We take treadmills, ellipticals, racks and whole home gyms apart on the spot and carry them down the stairs.
The treadmill went upstairs in pieces and has never come down. It weighs 250 pounds or more, the deck folds at the wrong moment, and the bonus room it lives in is about to become a nursery. Home gym gear is the hardest household item to get rid of, which is why it is one of our most common pickups.

We bring the tools and the second pair of hands. Racks, cable machines and bolted frames come apart in the room, treadmill decks get collapsed and strapped, and every piece is carried out, including from upstairs bonus rooms and finished basements. You do not lift a thing.
Donate-First Whenever We Can
Plenty of retired equipment still works; it just stopped getting used. When a treadmill, bike or weight set is clean and working, it goes to a Sacramento-area charity when we can. The charities decide what they will take, so we do not promise it on a specific piece. Steel frames and plates that cannot be donated go to a scrap recycler.

Why It's Worth Hiring Out
A treadmill sounds like a two-person job until you are halfway down a staircase with 250 pounds of steel and a folding deck that will not stay put. Plates and solid steel are real weight, and a third floor with no elevator is real access; both can nudge the number, and we tell you on the phone. No dump fee added later, no tip expected. Book online and the price drops by $20.
From One Machine to a Full Home Gym
Some calls are a single dusty elliptical in the corner of a bedroom. Others are a whole garage or bonus-room gym: rack, bench, plates, cardio machines, rubber flooring and all. Either is one visit. If you are turning the room back into a nursery, office or guest room, you walk into an empty, swept space the same day.

How much does it cost to remove a treadmill or home gym?
One treadmill or elliptical is a minimum-load job, $99 to $150. A full home gym is priced by the truck space it fills once it is apart, usually a quarter to a half truck, $180 to $480. You get the number before we lift anything.
Will you take equipment apart?
Yes. Racks, cable machines and bolted frames come apart in the room so they fit through the door safely. Disassembly is included in the price.
Can you get a treadmill down from upstairs?
Yes. Upstairs bonus rooms and basements are most of this work. We collapse and strap the deck, pad the stair walls, and carry it down with two people.
Do you donate working exercise equipment?
When it is clean, working and a charity will take it, yes. Charities refuse worn or broken machines, so we do not promise donation on a specific piece; steel goes to a scrap recycler instead.
Can you also take the rubber gym flooring and mats?
Yes. Interlocking mats, horse-stall mats and rubber rolls come out with the equipment. Point them out when you send the photo so the quote includes them.
Do I need to move anything to the curb first?
No. Leave it where it sits: bedroom, basement, garage or upstairs bonus room. Carrying it out is the whole point of hiring us.
